Este especial está dedicado a todos los que me mandastéis vuestras peticiones y quejas por no haberle dedicado últimamente tanto tiempo a Victoria como os tenía acustumbrados en el pasado. Así que para todos vosotros, especialmente para Jane, Angelica, Miriam y Henry. Tanta presión, tanta presión... En fin, lo dicho. Allá va. Y también os quiero ;o))
This special post is dedicated to all of you who sent me your requests and also to those who were complaining about myself not giving Victoria as much space and attention as I did in the past. So for all of you, especially for Jane, Angelica, Miriam and Henry. There it goes. And I love you as well ;o))

Hoy hablaré de tendencias que la reina de city chic introdujo o está potenciando mucho esta temporada.
Today I'm going to recap those trends the city chic queen introduced or is beeing keen on this season.

I. Faldas con cintura alta * High waisted skirts

Para los que me preguntaron por el "dVb celebrity team" deciros que tiene una socia nueva: Kate Beckinsale. Pero creo que vamos a estar todos de acuerdo que la presidenta sigue siendo Naomi.
For those who asked me about the "dVb Celebrity Team", we have a new member: Kate Beckinsale. But I believe we all agree the president of this club is still Naomi.

In the past seasons is were YLS, Balenciaga and Lanvin, among others. Her last pair are these fabulous Versace platforms.



Como le gusta mucho el diseñador Antonio Berardi, me pregunto si también la veremos en sus polémicas sandalias de plataforma sin tacón.
Since she likes Antonio Berardi's designs a lot, I've been asking myself whether we're going to see her wearing his controversial platform sandals without heels.

¿Te acuerdas de mi wishlist para Victoria del otro día? Pues ya podemos tachar uno de los vestidos. Aún no se desvelaron los detalles, pero hace un par de días Victoria estuvo en LA haciendo una sesión de fotos. Estaré pendiente para contar os los detalles en cuanto los tenga.
Remember my wishlist for Victoria from the other day? This dress is the first one of them Victoria wore already. Don't have any details so far but a couple of days ago she attened a photoshoot that took place in LA. I'll keep an eye on this so I can share the details with you as soon as I can.

Victoria sigue promocionando su linea de vaqueros. De "girl power" a "star power". Al igual que ella, esta temporada puedes elegir lo que más te guste o te favorezca o un poco de todo. Pantalones pitillos, bootcut, rectos o campana. Ajustados y anchos. Bajos y altos. Row, desgastados o de colores (a ver cuando se dejará ver en uno fluorescente - gran tendencia de esta temporada). El último modelito en amarillo lo combinó con gafas de sol en el mismo color y su chaqueta favorita de Gucci.
Victoria keeps promoting her denim line. From Girl Power to Star Power. Same as her, this season you can chose anything you prefer or a bit of everything. Skinny jeans, bootcut, straight or wide. Low or high waisted. Row, distressed or colored jeans (let's see when she's going to rock a pair of jeans in some fluorescent colour - this season big trend). Victoria combined her newest yellow jeans with sunglasses of the same colour and her favourite Gucci jacket.

Hablando de amarillo, nuestra gran Patricia Field lo incorporó sobre todo al vestuario de Samantha, aunque a Carrie también la veremos en un modelito amarillo de Proenza Schouler.
Talking about yellow colour, our beloved Patricia Field incorporated it espacially to Samantha's wardrobe, but we're also going to see Carrie in this yellow vest by Proenza Schouler.




Y hablando de Gucci. Fue precisamente Carrie quien puso (o volvió a poner) de moda los cinturones multifuncionales luciendo las famosas riñoneras de esta marca.
And talking about Gucci, Carrie was precisely the one that set the trend of bag belts from this label.



Volvamos un momentito a Victoria. Como probablemente sabrás, el próximo mes de Abril protagonizará la portada y un ámplio editorial de la revista Vogue UK. Entre otras creaciones la veremos lucir esta joya de vestido de Nina Ricci que también pudieron ver los lectores de Vogue US en el número de Enero, Numero France en Febrero y Harper's Bazaar UK en Marzo.
Let's come back to Victoria. As you probably know, she is April issue of Vogue UK cover girl. We will see her, among others, dressed in this fabulous Nina Ricci gown, already seen by the readers of January issue of Vogue US, Numero France (Feb) and Harper's Bazaar (March).





Vogue es sin duda la revista favorita de Carrie. Estuvo trabajando para la revista y antes, mientras y después fue su fiel lectora. Y lo es hasta hoy...

Y al final una curiosidad. Se rumoreaba que los productores de la película Sexo en Nueva York están hablando con Victoria Beckham. Eso lo sabemos todos. Lo que no sabía hasta hace muy poquito es, que Victoria salió en la serie junto a Carrie...
And finally a curiosity. Everybody knows that Sex and the City wanted to have Victoria Beckham in the movie. What I didn't know until very recently, Victoria appeared in the serie together with Carrie...

Spice Girls: So glad we made it, time will never ever change it...

El quinteto picante actuó ayer por última vez. Ayer se despidieron con la canción "Goodbye my friend, it's not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… " y ahora cada una de las chicas se dedicará a su carrera en solitario. Escribir libros para niños (Gerri), bailar y trabajar para programas de televisión (Mel B), cantar (Mel C), ser mamá (Emma) y trabajar en moda (Victoria).
Yesterday the spice quintet performed the last time. The girls ended the concert singing "Goodbye my friend, it's not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… " and from now on each of them will focus on their respective solo careers. Write books (Gerri), dance and work for TV programmes (Mel B), sing (Mel C), be mother (Emma) and work in the world of fashion (Victoria).



Antes del último concierto Victoria acudió a los almacenes Holt Renfrew, para promocionar su colección de vaqueros y gafas de sol dVb, y para encontrarse con sus múltiples fans.
Before the last concert Victoria visited Holt Renfrew store to promote her dvb denim and sunglasses collection, and to meet loads of her fans.





Al igual que en los dos anteriores encuentros con sus admirador@s de Boston y Chicago, llevaba vaqueros de su marca, una chaqueta entallada y taconazos de Louboutin.
Same as for the previous two "get togethers" with her fans from Boston and Chicago, she wore a pair of her dVb jeans, a fitted jacket and Louboutin heels.

Janice me ha preguntado, si ya se ha visto a alguna de las celebres fashion queens, a parte de Victoria, en los vaqueros dVb.
Janice asked me, whether there are already some famous fashion queens, apart from Victoria, wearing her dVb denim.

Victoria promociona su linea de vaqueros vaya por donde vaya. Pitillos blancos o medio lavados, piratas blancos o boot cut oscuros, vaqueros anchos, otro modelo oscuro o boot cut medio lavado...
La verdad, que aunque estoy bastante pendiente, no he visto a ninguna de las celebrities en los vaqueros dVb de momento. Tampoco se ha visto a muchas de ellas vistiendo los Rock & Republic diseñados por Victoria y ha sido un éxito de ventas tremendo... Así que aún es pronto para sacar conclusiones.
Victoria promotes her denim range in every ocassion. White skinny or semi washed jeans, cropped or raw boot cut, wide jeans, another model of raw ones or semi washed boot cut...
The true is, that even though I keep an eye on this all the time, I didn't see any of the celebrities wearing dVb range. I didn't see a lot of them wearing Rock & Republic by Victoria Beckham either and this range was a huuuge success... Having said this, I think it is too early to make any conclusions out of this.

"La familia" de los productos bajo la marca dVb está creciendo de forma rápida. Vaqueros, gafas de sol que ya llevan algunas de las celebres sxy fashion queens, perfumes...

... y a partir de hoy, dVb "V-sculpt". Y Victoria ha viajado hasta Japón para protagonizar el lanzamiento de su nueva linea de cosmética decorativa.

Como ya sabes, soy una gran fan de Victoria, pero los dos últimos lanzamientos no han sido tan "perfectos" como deberían haberlo sido. Mi punto es que si se hace un lanzamiento de una "celebrity line" a nivel mundial, o uno del cual van a hablar los medios en todo el mundo, la imagen que proyecta la protagonista de la campaña, y sobre todo cuando no se trata de una estrella fichada sino de la propia diseñadora y dueña, debería reflejar su look actual y no una imagen que cambió hace bastante tiempo. Lo mismo me pasó con el lanzamiento del perfume dVb Intimately Beckham "Night" en EEUU. Cuando Victoria ya llevaba unos meses teñida de rubia, apareció el "nuevo" anuncio de "Night" con su look anterior.
As you already know, I'm a huge fan of Victoria, but the last two launches were not as perfect as they should have been. My point is that if there is a worlwide launch of a celebrity line, or a launch all the media will be talking about, the image of the main character of the campaign, and especially when we're not talking about a celebrity endorsment, but about the designer and owner of the brand, should reflect her current look and not the image she modified some time ago. I felt the same with the dVb Intimately Beckham "Night" perfume in US. Victoria has been blonde for some months already, when the "new" ad with her previous look appeared in all media.
