Rihanna hace dos días en el evento de BET Awards. Los que sois fieles a Sxy Fashion Queen, los fans de Victoria Beckham y los de Giambattista Valli habéis reconocido su vestido amarillo a la primera. Efectivamente, es el mismo que llevó Victoria para su famoso y polémico editorial en Elle US el año pasado.
Rihanna a couple of days ago at BET Awards. Those who follow Sxy Fashion Queen, Victoria Beckham's fans and those of Giambattista Valli have recognized Rihanna's yellow dress already. Exactly, is the same one Victoria wore last year in Paris for her famous and controversial editorial for Elle US.



Para su actuación eligió este vestido muy sugerente que, aunque no se aprecian mucho, completó con su segundo par de botas Givenchy.

Not able to tell you whether this is from the fall 2008 collection or the designer behind the brand, Paula Thomas (on the picture in a blouse from her collection), has created it ad hoc for Rihanna. Después de Sarah Jessica Parker y Victoria Beckham (aunque aún queda por revelar de qué sesión de fotos se trataba), Charlize - ayer en Moscú. Muy bien acompañada, lucía este espectacular vestido de Giambattista Valli. ¿Envidia? ¡Pura y dura!

Once again a fabulous choice. And not only because this is one of my favourite dresses from Giambattista Valli Fall 2008 collection. After Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham (even though the photoshoot session was still not officially revealed), another fashion queen. Charlize yesterday in Moscow. In very good company, rocking this spectacular Giambattista Valli dress. Envy? No doubts!

Con las que tenemos una relación de tal magnitud que roza la adicción. Formamos la gran familia de "brand addicts" a la que también, y ente otras, pertenece Victoria Beckham (si perteneces a la familia, a) bienvenid@, b) a partir de hoy puedes decir que eres familia de la fashion icon más pija). ;o)
All of us have our favourite brands. Food, cars, electronics, cosmetics, shoes, clothing... And within our favourits range there are brands we have a real weakness for. The relationship we have with some of them is such it borders the addiction. We all form a big "brand addicts" family whose member, also and among others, is Victoria Beckham (if you belong the the family, a) welcome, b) from now on you can say you're the poshest fashion icon family member). ;o)

En las últimas cuatro semanas Victoria lució cuatro modelitos de Giambattista Valli, así que hace unos días estuve repasando sus colecciones, incluyedo la del próximo Otoño. Este ejercicio lo hago muy amenudo. Cuando veo que alguna de mis chicas repite mucho la marca, pero también cuando de repente saca un modelito de un diseñador que no conocía. Para refrescarme la memoria. Para formarme una opinión. Para de repente identificar un vestido que no sabía de quién era. Y también para hacer mis apuestas personales de que es lo que creo que va a elegir esta o la otra fashion queen de la colección de su diseñador favorito.
In the last four weeks Victoria rocked four outfits by Giambattista Valli, so some days ago I was going through his collections, including Fall 2008. I do this excercise quite often. When I see one of my girls repeat the label or designer name, but also when she suddenly rocks an outfit from somebody I have never heard of before. To refresh my memory. To make my opinion. To all of a sudden ID an outfit I loved but didn't know who it was by. And also to do my personal bets or wishlist for this or that fashion queen.

Pues que la nena coincidentalmente eligió el mismo vestido de Giambattista Valli que desde hace días estaba en mi lista de apuestas para Victoria. ¡What a Lovely coincidence! (pero el rojo sigue en mi lista para Victoria).
8 days left. And what was my surprise when I saw the Sarah Jessica Parker's pictures from the launch of her perfume Lovely in France? That the girl has coincidentally chosen the same Giambattista Valli dress that was on my wishlist for Victoria since days ago. What a Lovely coincidence! (but the red one I'm keeping it on Victoria's wishlist).
