... escogió un look de la colección de Louis Vuitton Otoño 2009 de pe a pa. La única diferencia si te fijas son las botas. No se complicó la vida pero por otro lado eligió uno de mis "top 5" de esta colección. Monísimo.

... she's chosen Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 total look. If you look closer, the only difference vs. the runway are her boots. She didn't complicate her life on one side, on the other side she opted for one of my "top 5" favourite looks from this collection. Fabulous.


Su peinado me recuerda a el de Roisin Murphy que juega mucho con este tipo de recogido barra moño.

Uno de los últimos looks de Beyoncé. Me encanta. Todo. El vestido es Djellabah Jacky de Antik Batik. El collar (lo quiero ahoramismo) es Ruth Celia de la colección Cult Couture de Dannijo. Las sandalias no creo que hace falta presentarlas. Y el bolso es Novak de Alexander McQueen.

One of Beyoncé's latest looks. Love it. Everything. The dress is Djellabah Jacky from Antik Batik. Her chain neckace (I have to have it!) is Ruth Celia"form the Cult Couture collection by Dannijo. The sandals, I don't think you need me to ID them. And finally her bag is Novak by Alexander McQueen.


Este modelo no es una novedad. Es uno de los bolsos icónicos del diseñador creado como homenaje a la actriz Kim Novak, la protagonista de la peli "Vértigo" de Alfred Hitchcock. Y desde el 2005 lo hemos visto en un sin fin de versiones...

The embellished tote is not from this season collection (I even think I saw this bag on her already). Is one of McQueen's iconic bags he named after the actress Kim Novak, the star of Alfred Hitchcock "Vertigo" movie. A bag that since 2005 was seen in many different different versions...

Tres chicas en 24 horas. Alexa Chung, Michelle Monaghan y Victoria Beckham. Todas casualmente eligieron las mismas sandalias (probablemente te acordarás que cuando vi la colección, pensé en Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Patrow y Gwen Stefani).

More Madonna for Louis Vuitton Spring 2009

Este es el tercer visual de la campaña de Madonna para Louis Vuitton. Sigo pensando que la idea de escoger la reina Madgy como la cara de la marca (la campaña de Primavera 2009 para ser precisos) ha sido un gran acierto.

This is the third visual from Madonna for Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 campaign. Madonna is striking her very best poses and I keep thinking that chosing the Queen Madgy as the face of the brand (of this collection to be precise) was a terrific idea.


La verdad es que hasta ahora no me fijé en el detalle de la espalda de la prenda. Va a ser porque hasta ahora tampoco encontré una buena foto en la que se vería bien por detrás. Ni de la pasarela (si la tienes, comparte por fa; la única que encontré hace un par de días ha sido esta instantánea hecha por Karen Kooper), ni de Madonna (las foto abajo es las única en la que se puede apreciar un pelín).

To be honest I didn't realize how beautiful is the back of the top. Maybe because I have never find a picture taken from behind. Neither from the catwalk (if you have a good one, pls share, the only one I've found a couple of days ago was the first one below, taken by Karen Kooper), nor of Madonna (below picture is the only one you can take a tiny idea from of how could the back of the outfit look like).

Next Celebrity Club: Louis Vuitton Tribal Parisienne

Cuando te comenté que estoy preparando este tema, este club aún no tenía su fundadora. El hecho de que en tan poco tiempo ya la tiene solamente confirma que mi sentido no me falló y que la siguiente socia la podemos esperar en breve. Cuando vi la colección de Louis Vuitton para la próxima temporada, la que su creador Marc Jacobs denomina Little Parisienne Princess, lo que me llamó la atención a la primera eran los zapatos y complementos. Y las primeras tres chicas que me imaginé llevando los zapatos eran Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham y Gwen Stefani. Me encantaron las combinaciones de colores, materiales y acabados y ese toque tribu que respiraba toda la colección.

When I told you I was collecting material for this post, this club by then didn't have a founder yet. The fact we have the name already only proves me right and I feel we can expect the next member in no time. When I saw Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection that Marc Jacobs called reminiscent of a Little Parisienne Princess, what captured my attention at first were the accessories and shoes. And the first ladies I imagined wearing the shoes were Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham and Gwen Stefani. I love the multi colour combinations, the mix of materials and finishes and that tribal chic touch of the whole collection.





A la que no me imaginé era a Madonna. No por una razón en concreto, simplemente no estaba en la lista de las que vinieron a mi mente inmediatamente, espontáneamente, sin pensarlo, de forma automática...

The one I didn't think about was Madonna. For no reason in particular, she simply was not on the top of my mind, on the list of girls that I thought about immediately, spontaneously, like automatically...


Ahora pienso que elegir a la reina de pop como cara de la próxima campaña ha sido todo un acertazo.

Now I think that having chosen the queen of the pop as the face for the Spring 2009 campaign was the greatest choice and I'm looking forward to see all the visuals.



Como forma parte de su contrato, a Madonna no le podemos adjudicar el título de fundadora de este club. Tampoco a Beyoncé pues ahí el punto se lo lleva el estilista.

Since promoting the brand is a part of her job, Madonna can't get the title of the founder of this club. Neither can Beyoncé cause here as usual the point goes to the stylist.


Aquí viene la fundadora: Heidi Klum, que eligió los mismos zapatos que luce Raquel Zimmermann en Vogue US de este mes.

And here comes the founder of this club: Heidi Klum, that has chosen the same sandals Raquel Zimmermann wears in December issue of Vogue US.


Vogue US no es la única revista que homenajea la colección. Vogue Francia la adora también.

Vogue US is not the only magazine paying tribute to this collection. Vogue France adores it as well.
