Take a note: Christophe Coppens

En el especial "Apunta" de hoy viajaremos a Bélgica. Se le conoce por ser el diseñador de sombreros para la realeza Belga pero no solamente crea accesorios. Creó vestuario, decoraciones y dirigió varias obras de teatro pero no es lo único que hace. A la hora de crear su linea de decoración de interiores utiliza vidrio, cerámica, textíl, madera y bronce - entre otros - pero no solamente se dedica a eso. Con sus múltiples exposiciones fascinó a los visitantes de medio mundo. Ha creado sombreros para Kaat Tilley, Françoise Dury, Gérald Watelet, Guy Laroche, Lolita Lempicka y Yohji Yamamoto. Ultra creativo, brillante, polifacético y a pesar de sus éxitos con los pies firmes en el suelo. Sus iniciales son CC y aunque nada que ver con Coco Chanel, también se dedica a alta costura. Su nombre es Christophe Coppens. Y la que está promocionando su trabajo por todo el mundo es Roisin Murphy. Seguramente la has visto en alguno de sus sombreros y accesorios...

In today's "Take a note" special we're travelling to Belgium. He is best known as the hat designer for the Belgium royalty but hats and all kind of accessories are not the only creations of his. Directed and designed costumes and stage props for several plays and performances but this is not the only thing he does. Works with glassware, candles, ceramics, fabrics, wood, bronze - among others - while creating his own interior decorative lines but this is not his only devotion. With his multiple exhibitions he's been fastinating people from half the world. Created hats for Kaat Tilley, Françoise Dury, Gérald Watelet, Guy Laroche, Lolita Lempicka and Yohji Yamamoto. Ultra creative, brilliant, multifaceted but despite all of his success still very down to earth. His initials are CC and even though these don't stand for Coco Chanel, he's presented several couture collections already. Take a note. His name is Christophe Coppens.
The one that is promoting his works of art all around the world is Roisin Murphy. I'm sure you've seen some pictures of hers wearing Christopher's hats or accessories...
