Love the details: Beyoncé & Jil Sander dress

La colección de Primavera de Jil Sander está llena de ideas y detalles. Uno de los vestidos que me llamaron la atención era este vestido largo con recortes en la parte de la cintura y los muslos.

Jil Santander Spring collection is full of ideas and details. One of the dresses that attracted my attention was this long cut-out dress.


Más adelante vimos su versión modificada que no me gustó nada y no solamente porque Katie no llevaba sujetador. Comparando con el original, lo que quedó de la pieza me parecía súper soso.

The modification of the dress was seen on Katie Holmes but I didn't like it at all. And not only because Katie didn't wear a bra. Comparing to the runway version, hers was just too softened for my liking.


Pero cuando vi la foto de Beyoncé en la revista Vogue, me volví a enamorar. El vestido en un cuerpo curvado como el suyo de repente toma una nueva dimensión. Está divino. ¿No te parece?

But when I saw this foto of Beyoncé in Vogue, I felt in love again. The dress on a curvy body like hers suddenly gets another dimension. Divine. Don't you think so?

Antes de enterarme ayer del nombre del diseñador y la marca, pensé que la chaquetita de Rihanna era de Dsquared2. También por un momento pensé en Vivienne Westwood.

Ya tengo las primeras fotos del primer concierto de la gira I Am... (gracias a Beyoncenow!). Solamente tres cosas me sonaban familiares, el resto deben ser piezas creadas para la nena a medida.

I've got the first pictures from the first concert of I Am... Tour (big thanks to Beyoncenow!). I recognized only three of them, the rest should be tailor made pieces designed exclusively for the tour and the lucky lady.

Por un momento incluso pensaba que es Pamela Anderson... Después de haber visto varias fotos parecidas me di cuenta que se trata de Lady Gaga... Pasé y seguía con mi búsqueda. Al final no encontré lo que buscaba pero encontré otra instantánea muy interesante. La foto fue tomada durante uno de los primeros conciertos de la gira The Fame Ball de Lady Gaga.

I just gave it a quick look and even for a moment thought it was Pamela Anderson... Just after having seen several similar pictures I realized it was Lady Gaga... But it was nothing of my interest so I kept looking for what I had in mind. Until I found this photo taken during one of the first concerts of Lady Gaga's Fame Ball Tour.

Son de Giuseppe Zanotti. El nombre de este zapato con plataforma interna es bastante frío: "E96082" Platform Pump. El color - lo denominaron "desierto" - es todo lo contrario.

If you feel like you saw her shoes very recently on other celebrity, your're right. Rachel Bilson wore the same pumps the other day with her 3.1 Phillip Lim dress (the post below). They are by Giuseppe Zanotti. Although the name is quite cold: "E96082" Platform Pump, the colour - "Dessert" - feels quite the opposite.

... que además de lo que vimos en la pasarela tiene bastante "sorpresas" que puedes encontrar en su página oficial. Cualquiera denominaría el color "azul marino" pero Phillip Lim salpica su colección con una pequeña dosis de poesía y romanticismo llamándolo "medianoche".

... that on top of the outfits seen on the runway includes quite a lot of "surprises" you can find on the official site. Many of us would call the colour "navy" but Phillip Lim sprinkles his collection with a tiny dosis of poetry and romanticism by naming it "Midnight".


A Rachel la marca va como el guante. Hace solamente una semana la vimos en otro modelito monísimo de la misma colección.

This brand is a perfect fit for Rachel. Only a week ago we saw her in another fab dress from the same collection.
