Wanted: Beyoncé & Deréon Studded Leather Jacket

Hace unas semanas Beyoncé acudió a los Estudios NBC para dar una entrevista y actuar en el programa "Today". Y... me enamoré de su chaqueta de cuero.

Some weeks ago Beyoncé attended "Today" show at NBC Studios to talk about her latest projects and perform one of the songs from her "I am..." album. And... I felt in love with her leather jack.




Estaba buscando una chaquetita rockera de cuero cortita para mí. Para que te hagas una idea, algo como presentaron William Rast o Dsquared2 en sus respectivas colecciones de Otoño 2009. 

I've been looking for a cropped studded leather jacket for myself. So you have an idea, something like William Rast or Dsquared2 presented on their respective Fall 2009 runways. 



Algo así, pero con más tachuelas, cadenas, colgantes... También esperaba a ver la cole de Rock & Republic de Otoño 2009 que aún no se ha visto... Pero cuando vi la de Sasha Fierce, supe que esa es la que quería. Seguro que sabes de que estoy hablando... Esa sensación de cuando estás buscando "algo" y mientras lo buscas igual ni sabes definirlo del todo, pero en cuanto lo ves, sabes con toda la seguridad del mundo que esto es precisamente lo que tenías en la mente... pues eso es lo que tenía en la mía... dormiría en ella y conociéndome, no me la quitaría hasta que no se deshiciera... La suya debe ser de Deréon. Deduzco por los colgantes en las cremalleras en forma del logo de la marca (pero un buen tiempo me estaba rompiendo la cabeza e intentando encontrarlo, hasta que decidí observar los detalles detenidamente con el fin de encontrar alguna pista). No sé si se trata de algo que ha sido creado exclusivamente para ella o formará parte de alguna acción especial de Deréon en Otoño... pero no descansaré hasta conseguir los detalles :o)

Something like that but with more studs, spikes, chains, pendants... I also wanted to see Rock & Republic collection that was not shared with us so far... But the very moment I spotted Mrs. Fierce, I knew exactly what I wanted. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The feeling you have when you are desperately looking for that "something" you are probably not even able to precisely define but the moment you spot it, you inmediately know this is IT... so this was IT... and if this jacket was mine, I would sleep in it... I believe Bayoncé's studded miracle is by Deréon (I spent hours looking everywhere, asking my friends in NY until I decided maybe I'd find some hints with the help of a magnifying glass... yeap... can call me obsessed if you want...) Studs, spikes, chains, pendants, including Deréon logo... Don't know whether is a one of a kind piece or, same as the hoody featured in her "Irreplaceable" video, we'll see the jacket in some special Fall promotion of the brand... Don't know but won't stop until I get the details :o)


Me tiene loca. Obsesionada. Que también es el nombre de la última peli de Beyoncé... Debe ser una señal o algo... Ya te contaré...

This jacket drives me crazy. Obsessed. That also is a title of Beyoncé's new movie. Has to be some sign or something... Will keep you posted...

Love her look: Rihanna in Undercover by Jun Takahashi

Antes de enterarme ayer del nombre del diseñador y la marca, pensé que la chaquetita de Rihanna era de Dsquared2. También por un momento pensé en Vivienne Westwood.

Before I found out both the brand and the designer names of Rihanna's cropped jacket, I thought it was Dsquared2. And for a moment I also thought about Vivienne Westwood.


Pues no. La monada que lleva es de la marca Undercover, ...

None of above. The cutesy she wore is from Undercover, ...

Y creo que si "tuviera que elegir", hubiera optado por el mismo modelo. Es maravilloso.

And I think if I "had to chose", I'd have opted for the same style. Is just fabulous.

Welcome New Members: Eva Mendez & Dsquared2

Primero Rihanna y ahora otra de mis favoritas, Eva Mendez (vestida de Bill Blass). Aunque su look para el estreno de la peli "The Women" lo incluyo en la categoría "demasiado jóven para aparentar 10 años más", aplaudo a su elección de zapatos.

First Rihanna and now another one of my favourite girls, Eva Mendez (dressed in Bill Blass). Even though her look for "The Women" movie premiere I'm including it to the "too young to look 10 years older" category, I applaud her shoe choice.



Esos tacones zig-zag de Dsquared2 me encantan. Como la que siempre va por delante de todas en lo que se trata de esta marca es Rihanna (esta temporada la hemos visto en por lo menos tres pares distintos de la última colección), a ver si va a ser la primera en lucir los taconazos con cuadros escoceses.

I love love love this Dsquared2 ziz-zag flash heels. Since the "Dsquared2 Girl" Rihanna is always the one that rocks their shoe jewels first (this season she was spotted with at least three different pairs of shoes from their last collection), let's see whether she's going to be the first one spotted with Dsquare2 Plaid Pumps.

La semana pasada Rihanna estuvo en Italia. Su tiempo libre lo aprovechó, entre otras cosas, para ir de compras con sus amigos, Dean y Dan, diseñadores de Dsquared2. Más tarde, durante su actuación durante el concierto MTV Mobile Bang en Milan, descubrimos una parte (porque seguro que habrá sorpresas más adelante) del contenido de sus bolsas de compra.

Last week Rihanna traveled to Italy. Among other activities, she went shopping with her friends, Dean and Dan, designers of Dsquared2. Later, during her performance at the MTV Mobile Bang Concert stage in Milan, we've discovered a part (because I think we can expect some surprises later ) of the content of her shopping bags.

Rihanna ha asistido a la Semana de Moda en Milan, para apoyar a los diseñadores Canadienses Dean and Dan Caten, durante la presentación de la colección Primavera/Verano 2008, de Dsquared2. Espectacular. Tanto en el vestido negro, como en el morado.
