Las últimas semanas han sido frenéticas... Me esperan otras dos semanitas atareadas, así que me imagino que hasta principios de Septiembre SFQ no volverá a su ritmo habitual. Antes de sumergirme en mi siguiente proyecto, un especial para los seguidores de Lady Gaga. Parece que la niña tiene muchos fans entre los lectores de Sxy Fashion Queen pues la gran mayoría de los e-mails que estoy recibiendo son preguntas sobre su estilo (la terremoto rubia (al igual que Beyoncé) está nominada para nada menos que 9 premios de VMA, así que ¡felicidades, Gagaloo!!!). Si la pregunta que me mandaste no está respondida abajo, va a ser porque o bien se trata de un modelito producido por los manitas de Haus of Gaga o porque aún no di con el diseñador (la verdad que gracias a ella y a vuestro interés estoy descubriendo cositas nuevas y muy interesantes).

If the question you sent me is not answered below is either because I didn't ID the piece yet or because I think it was created by the people from the Haus of Gaga but I'm really not sure (the true is thanks to her and your interest I'm enjoying a lot and discovering a lot of new and very interesting things).

A: El adorono en realidad son dos piezas. La primera es una especie de gargantilla de cuero con hombreras. Encontré uno prácticamente idéntico, con tachuelas y cadenas doradas, que al parecer pertenecía a Liza Minelli. Por lo visto pesa "un poco" y por 565$ podría ser tuyo a través de Antique Dress (donde encontrarás más "tesoros" que lució Liza Minelli, pero también Whitney Houston o Jennifer Lopez, entre otras). Y la segunda pieza, la gargantilla hecha de metal y "bañada" en con cristales Swarovski, ha sido creada por la diseñadora Betony Vernon para el evento Swarovski Runway Rocks hace un par de años y no está disponible a la venta.

The neckpiece actually is a mix of two separate accessories. The first one is a vintage black leather neckband with shoulder pads studded with silver metal dots, and fully trimmed in front, sides, and partial back with silver metal chains. The one I found for you is almost identical, with golden studs and chains and apparently it belonged to Liza Minelli! According to Antique Dress (where you can also find more memorabilia treasures worn by her and also Whitney Houston or Jennifer Lopez, among others) the piece is quite heavy and for 565$ it can be yours for ever and ever. The second piece is Swarovski crystal encrusted neckbrace created by Betony Vernon for Swarovski Runway Rocks event a couple of years ago and is not available for sale.

A: Según B. Åkerlund, la estilista detrás del videoclip, el mono ajustado ha sido creado para la cantante a medida, así que no sabría decirte...

According to B. Åkerlund, the stylist behind the video, the piece was tailor made for Gaga, so I really don't know...

... aunque por otro lado Katy Perry, otra de las grandes fans del diseñador, aparece este mes en la revista japonesa Nylon, luciendo un top de la misma colección que tampoco vimos durante la presentación de la colección. En la pasarela prácticamente nunca se presenta todo el desarrollo de cada uno de los estampados de la colección. Así que no pierdas la esperanza. :)

A: Creo que los recogidos y las pelucas están creadas por Haus of Gaga, muchas diseñadas por la cantautora. Incluso ella misma lo comentó en varias entrevistas que con un poco de creatividad y unas extensiones se pueden crear verdaderas maravillas.

I think all the hairpieces, creations, scupltures and wigs are created by Haus of Gaga. Many are designed by Gaga herself. She told press in several interviews that with some hair extensions and a bit of creativity you can do real wonders. So try it and let me know :)
