Estaba navegando por la página de Fashionmission cuando di con su nombre. Hace tres días. Desde entonces, a ratos, continué navegando y buscando más piezas del puzzle llamado Kristian Aadnevik.

Surfing through Fashionmission site the other day I found his name. Three days ago. Since then, I've been searching for the pieces of the puzzle named Kristian Aadnevik.

De origen es Noruego pero actualmente vive en Londres. Y visto lo visto creo, y no soy ni la primera ni la única, que vamos a escuchar mucho mucho mucho sobre este chaval con muchísimo talento, que después de haber trabajado para Harrods International y Charles Jourdan en Japón, presentó su primera colección en la Semana de Moda en Londres en 2004. Y que actualmente trabaja bajo las alas protectoras de Donatella Versace (y por lo tanto su próxima colección vamos a poder verla durante la Semana de Moda en Milán). Originally from Norway, currently living in London. And after I went through his collections, and I'm not the first one nor the only one, I believe we will hear a lot about this very talented young man that, after having worked for Harrods International and Charles Jourdan in Japan, presented his first collection back in 2004 during the London Fashion Week. ¿Por qué hace un momento hablaba de puzzle? Pues porque hasta ahora hemos visto muchas de sus creaciones sin saber quién es el diseñador. Así que por un lado buscaba nombres, por otro fotos, por otro imágenes de los modelitos de Kristian, editoriales... Y aunque creo haber encontrado cosas muy interesantes, me da a mi que este puzzle es uno de esos que tardas en terminar. Lo que está claro es que tomé nota (en negrita) y no me dejaré escapar la próxima colección de este jóven genio. Y creo que tampoco lo harán muchas de las celebres fashion queens y estilistas.

Why I was talking about a puzzle a while ago? Well until now we've seen a lot of his creations without knowing who's the designer behind them. So I was looking for the names on one hand, photos of celebrities on the other, pictures of Kristians' works, editorials... And even though I believe I've found very interesting things, I feel this puzzle belongs to the category "Takes time to finish". What is evident is that I took a note (in bold) and I won't miss Kristian's next collection of this young genius. And I think many celebrities and stylists will be pending as well.

La lista de las celebrities - fans de Kristian es cada día más larga. Madonna, Rihanna, Girls Aloud, Alesha Dixon, Sarah Brightman, Kelly Rowland... entre otras (sigo investigando para traerte más fotos). Todas se dejaron seducir por la sensualidad y glamour de las creaciones de Kristian.

The list of famous fans of Krisitan Aadnevik is growing as we speek. Madonna, Rihanna, Girls Aloud, Alesha Dixon, Sarah Brightman, Kelly Rowlan... are only some of them (will keep you informed about any new piece of puzzle I find). All of them were attracted by the sensuality and glamour of Kristians' creations.

... luego en Agosto el año pasado eligió este vestido largo para la Ceremonia de apertura de World Athletic Championship en Osaka (el mismo que los teleespectadores Noruegos vieron a Dorthe Skappel, otra gran fan de Kristian).

Hablando de repetir, creo que este vestido con plumas ha sido uno de los más "repetidos". En la televisión fue Dorthe Skappel, en la carpeta roja Kelly Rowland y en diversos editoriales en las revistas más prestigiosas (estos son solamente algunos), entre otras, Rihanna.

Talking about repeating, I think this dress with feathers was one of the most "repeated". Dorthe Skappel on television, Kelly Rowland on the red carpet and in several editorials in the most prestigious magazines (these are only some of them) Rihanna, among others.





Para Kelly Rowland no ha sido la primera vez pues los lectores de Blag la vieron en un editorial dedicado a algunas de las cantantes prometedoras, vestida en este modelito negro.

Pues esta ha sido la parte del puzzle que pude juntar a ratos en tres días. Un@ nunca se acuesta sin haber aprendido algo nuevo. Y eso es lo que me fascina del mundo de la moda. Que siempre hay sorpresas. Que siempre encuentras algo nuevo. Que cada día puedes descubrir un genio prometedor o una marca desconocida. Que a diario puedes dar con una página web interesantísima o un blog fabuloso. Así que, aunque no esté terminado del todo, aunque faltan piezas (si tienes alguna y quieres compartir, ¡adelante! y muchas gracias), hoy dedicaré este puzzle a todos vosotros que formáis parte del Club de los Amantes de la Moda. ¡Que tengáis un día maravilloso!

So this was the part of the puzzle I was able to put together in three days. A lot of research but one never goes sleep without learning something new. And this is was fascinates me about the world of fashion. There are surprises all the time. You always find something new. Every day. You can discover a promising genius you've never heard about before or an unknown brand. You can find a very interesting web site or a fabulous blogon a daily basis. So even though is not finished yet, even though I'm missing some pieces (if you have some and want to share, thanks in advance!), I'm going to devote this puzzle to all of you that are members of the Fashion Lovers Club.
