Pero "examinándolo" en fotos de alta resolución te das cuenta que solamente se trataba de una ilusión visual. El suyo es de su diseñador favorito Elie Saab, de la colección de Otoño 2009, en la pasarela presentado en blanco y negro.

But after a closer look on the HQ pictures you realize that was just a visual illusion. Dita's wool crepe LBD is from his favourite desinger Elie Saab Fall 2009 collection, on the runway presented in B&W.


Lo que me encanta de los vestidos son los cortes geométricos con visibles pespuntes. Y si mi querida Dita hubiera dejado los guantes en casa y hubiera elegido otros zapatos, este post se llamaría "Love her look...". Espero que volveremos a verla en algún vestido más de esta colección. ¿El tercero quizás?

What I love, on both the black version and the two-tone ones are the topstitched geometrical cuts. And if my beloved Dita would leave those horrible gloves at home and picked a different pair of shoes, this post title would be "Love her look...". Hope to see her in more dresses from this collection. A third one would look lovely on her IMO.

Cover Girl: Victoria Beckham & Vogue

Una de las peores portadas, si no la peor, de Victoria Beckham de todos los tiempos. La omnipresente diseñadora y modelo (su próximo proyecto es trabajar como modelo para la ropa interior de Emporio Armani) esta vez posó para Vogue India. Aunque la portada no me gusta absolutamente nada, me gusta la idea y me encantan las obras de arte que lleva puestas. Tengo que decir que menos uno, no conocía los nombres de los diseñadores.

One of her worst covers, if not the worst. The omnipresent designer and model (her next project is to work as a model for Emporio Armani underwear) on the cover of Vogue India. Even though I don't like the cover at all, I love the idea behind the editorial and the works of art Victoria is wearing. I have to say I didn' know any of the designers but one.

Celebrity Style: Beyoncé & RM by Roland Mouret

Primero Heidi Klum. Más tarde Jennifer Ellison y hace nada Jennifer Lopez. Tres mujeres muy diferentes eligieron el mismo vestido, y también coincidentalmente las tres también optaron por complementos negros.

First Heidi Klum. Later on Jennifer Ellison and Jenifer Lopez. Three very different women have chosen the same dress and on top of that all of them have also coincidentally opted for both black shoes and accessories.

Jennifer Lopez, en concreto, lució un par de taconazos de vértigo - por algo se llamarán de doble plataforma - de Yves Saint Laurent.

Jennifer Lopez rocked a pair of vertiginous heels with a vertiginous name: Tribute Double-Platform Pumps by Yves Saint Laurent.

Lo interesante en estos zapatos de YSL, además de que ya las tiene la mitad de Hollywood (pero este tema lo dejaremos para otro post), es su su suela azul. Mira que efecto tan bonito: 

The interesting thing about these YSL shoes, on top of the fact that about a half of Hollywood owns them already (but let's leave this for a separate post), are their blue soles. What a nice effect, isn't it?:

Ya que estamos, aprovecho para felicitar a Victoria Beckham por su nuevo corte. Si no me equivoco, la última vez lo tenía tan cortito hará unos 9 años. La foto es del año 2000. En ese momento Victoria desfilaba durante London Fashion Week para Maria Grachvogel. Pasaron ocho años y Victoria cumplió otro de sus sueños, presentar su primera colección de vestidos y no en cualquier lugar, sino en New York Fashion Week. ¡Felicidades!

Here I'd like to congratulate to Victoria Beckham for her new hair do. If I'm correct the last time she cut her hair this short was about 9 years ago. The picture is from 2000. Back then Victoria was making her catwalk debut for Maria Grachvogel at London Fashion Week. Eight years later Victoria made another dream of hers reality by presenting her own collection of dresses and she did her designer debut at New York Fashion Week. Congratulations!



Mira como me estoy enrollando... y eso que la protagonista de este post iba a ser Beyoncé... así que aquí viene. Vestida de RM by Roland Mouret. El mismo vestido que las otras tres fashion queens arriba pero en otro color. Además de elegir un color que aún no hemos visto a nadie, es la única que decidió lucir el vestido en una modificación más corta, justo por encima de las rodillas.

Back to the point... the protagonist of this post was ment to be Beyoncé... so here she comes. Dressed in RM by Roland Mouret Pigalle wool dress. The same the other three ladies above have chosen but in a different colour. On top of chosing a colour that was not spotted on any other famous fashion queen so far, she's also the only one that decided to wear a shorter version of the dress.

Celebrity style: Victoria Beckham & boyfriend jeans

La tendencia de "boyfriend jeans" no es nueva y tampoco es una tendencia especialmente fuerte puesto que hay pocas atrevidas y de las pocas no a todas les quedan bien unos vaqueros cuatro tallas más grandes como si fueran prestados de su chico (o que directamente son vaqueros de su chico).
Boyfriend jeans trend is not new and is not especially strong either because there are very few women that dare to wear it and only a few of them look good in a pair of jeans that are like four sizes bigger than theirs, jeans that look like they have stolen them from their boyfriends (maybe because they actually have).



Victoria - una de las atrevidas y afortunadas - ayer. No es la primera vez que la vemos en unos "pantalones de novio". Su denfadado y comodísimo look me parece muuuy sxy.
Victoria - one of the daring & lucky ones - yesterday. This is not the first time she was spotted in a pair of boyfriend trousers. I find her casual and comfy look veeery sxy.
