Voy directamente al grano. La pregunta de hoy es: ¿Quién, además de Lucy Liu y Kate Bosworth, llució el vestido de cremalleras de Phillip Lim?

El otro día lo encontré en color rosa y es una auténtica delicia.

I found it in pink the other day and it looks really delicious.

(Des)pistas: Al igual que el resto de las chicas optó por el color negro. Uno de sus diseñadores favoritos de Jeremy Scott. Le chifla la fruta y el helado. Tiene algo en común con Daisy Lowe, Lilly Allen, Scarlett Johansson, Freida Pinto y Christina Aguilera. Y no es Solange.

Clues: Same as the other ladies, she's opted for black colour. One of her favourite designers is Jeremy Scott. She adores fruits and ice cream. Shares something with Daisy Lowe, Lilly Allen, Scarlett Johansson, Freida Pinto and Christina Aguilera. And I'm not talking about Solange.

Eran las primeras imágenes que vi esta mañana. Me encanta el look de Rachel. El vestidito que lleva es de la colección de Phillip Lim Primavera 2009...

... que además de lo que vimos en la pasarela tiene bastante "sorpresas" que puedes encontrar en su página oficial. Cualquiera denominaría el color "azul marino" pero Phillip Lim salpica su colección con una pequeña dosis de poesía y romanticismo llamándolo "medianoche".

... that on top of the outfits seen on the runway includes quite a lot of "surprises" you can find on the official site. Many of us would call the colour "navy" but Phillip Lim sprinkles his collection with a tiny dosis of poetry and romanticism by naming it "Midnight".


A Rachel la marca va como el guante. Hace solamente una semana la vimos en otro modelito monísimo de la misma colección.

This brand is a perfect fit for Rachel. Only a week ago we saw her in another fab dress from the same collection.

Lucy Liu fue una de las invitadas a la fiesta de cumpleaños de Patricia Field. Acudió vestida de 3.1 Phillip Lim Primavera 2009.

Me encanta el detalle de la cascada de cremalleras que empieza en la espalda, fluye por la parte frontera de la pieza y rodea las caderas. Gracias a que el vestido está disponible en Bergdorf Goodman podemos apreciar los detalles mejor que en la pasarela.

Love the detail of the zipper cascade that start on the back, flows down the front part of the dress and surrounds the hips. Thanks to Bergdorf Goodman we can appreciate this fab detail better than on the catwalk photos.

Igual te acordarás que Kate Bosworth llevaba el mismo vestido en Diciembre el año pasado. La diferencia entre los dos es que el vestido que lleva Lucy es tal cual se ha visto durante el desfilé, ...

... mientras que el vestido de Kate está hecho a medida para ella. "Le dije a Phillip que realmente me gustaba este vestido y sabiendo que tiene una linea verde, le pregunté si sería posible que me lo hiciera y su contestación ha sido positiva. Parte es cáñamo, parte seda orgánica, cremalleras recicladas y ha sido teñido a mano con tintes naturales. Y eso que mucha gente cree que las lineas ecológicas tienen que ser aburridas. El motivo porque me encantó era porque fue una demostración de que una prenda 100% ecológica puede llegar a ser muy interesante."

While Kate's dress was tailor made for her. "It’s his green line. This dress is in his regular [Spring] line but he made this for me for this event. I told Phillip I really liked this dress, but I know he has a green line, so I asked if it was possible to make it green and he said absolutely. This is some hemp, some organic silk, recycled zippers, and it’s been hand-dyed in natural dyes. What’s so great about it is a lot of people think green clothing can be boring or granola-ish. The reason I loved it is it shows how you can make an interesting design 100 percent green."
