Amy Winehouse para su actuación en Glastonbury Festival el finde pasado eligió el mismo vestido de Luella que vimos a otra cantante, Corinne Bailey Rae, en Febrero este año durante los Grammy Awards.
Amy Winehouse for her performance during the Glastonbury Festival last weekend has chosen the same Luella dress we saw on other singer, Corinne Bailey Rae, back in February during the Grammy Awards.

Ayer por la noche me hubiera gustado estar en otro sitio que no sea mi casa, concretamente en ese gran fiestón de música que todo el mundo conocemos como Grammy Awards. Muchas estrellas (no vamos a hablar de todas), mucho glamour y también muchas sorpresas. No sé muy bien por donde empezar, así que hoy en órden alfabético.
Yesterday night I would have loved being in a different place than at home, concretely at the huge music party all of us know as Grammy Awards. A lot of stars (we won't talk about all of them), a lot of glamour and also a lot of surprises. Don't know where to start so today, in alphabetical order.

Alicia Keys
Se ha llevado dos premios. Además, cantó su canción "No One" y un duet con el mismísimo Frank Sinatra. Aunque no es nada nuevo, y para este duet probablemente hubiera elegido otra canción, me encanta la idea de juntar por arte de magia a dos (o varios) artistas que en la vida real desgraciadamente ya no podrían reunirse en un escenario.
On top of taking two awards, she stepped the stage to perform "No One" and a duet with Frank Sinatra himself. Even though this is not new, and I would have probably chosen a different song, love the idea of "magically" put together two (or more) artists that in real life unfortunatelly couldn't share the stage.

Alicia cambió varias veces de look pero esta vez no me ha impresionado. Poco original, poco atrevido, demasiado visto (sobre todo los dos vestidos de Hervé Legér)... y el recogido un desastre.
Alicia changed her look several times but this time none of her outfits impressed me. Nothing original, nothing daring, too "déjà vu" (the two Hervé Legér dresses above all)... and the hairdo was a disaster.

Parecía un adorno navideño en su vestido largo de Elie Saab.
Looked like a xmas adornment in her Elie Saab dress.

No le tocó ningún premio Grammy, pero como la nena tiene talento y mucha suerte, ganó el gordo. Creo que a cualquiera de las cantantes que acudieron al evento, les hubiera gustado cantar con la mismísima Tina Turner. Al final la canción elegida fue, una vez más, "Proud Mary" (Tina recibió un Grammy por ella en el 1972). Tienes que verlo. Una maravilla de actuación.
She didn't win any Grammy Award, but since the girl has talent and is very lucky, she won the jackpot. I think any of the singer attending the event, would have loved singing with Tina Turner herself. The song they performed was, once again, "Proud Mary" (Tina won a Grammy for precisely this song back in 1972). You have to see it. A marvelous performance.

Un vestido (Calvin Klein) para la alfombra roja, otro modelito para su actuación.

Tengo que decir que, aunque la chica necesitaría un estilista o asesor, últimamente está sacando su lado "Posh" que me está gustando mucho.
I have to say that, even the girl would need a stylist or a good adviser, she's rocking her inner "Posh" lately and I love it.

Rihanna
Al igual que Fergie, a Rihanna también la hemos visto en dos vestidos, ambos de Zac Posen. El azul me parece espectacular. El otro tampoco está mal, lo que le "mató", eran los botines. Estaba nominada en 6 categorías pero al final se llevó "solamente" un premio por su canción "Umbrella".
Like Fergie, Rihanna was also spotted in two different dresses, both by Zac Posen. The blue one is spectacular. The other one is not bad, but she killed it with the knee boots. She was nominated in 6 categories but at the end she took "only" one award for her song "Umbrella".

Para mí una gran sorpresa era la aparición de Cher. Como siempre, vestida en un modelito extravagante, que visto en ella, me encanta.
For me a huge surprise was the appearance of Cher. As usually, dressed in an avant-guard outfit, that seen on her, I love a lot.

La que más premios se llevó - 5 de los seis a los que estaba nominada, era Amy Winehouse. Por un lado se lo merece, tiene una voz muy potente, por otro, desde aquí le deseo mucha fuerza.
Amy Winehouse, nominated in 6 categories, got 5 awards! On one hand she deserves it, she's got a really powerful voice, and on the other hand... from here I wish her a lot of strength and courage.
