Zapatos cada vez pertenecen más a la categoría de complementos. Cada vez más pensados, más sorprendentes, más sofisticados, más trabajados, unas verdaderas obras de arte. Estos son solo algunos de los que me gustaron últimamente en los pies de las fashion queens.
Shoes already belong more to the category of accessories rather than footwear. Every season more creative, more surprising, more sophisticated, real works of art. And the following ones are only some of celebrity shoes I saw lately and really like.

Botas de Balenciaga... me encanta la combinación de Rihanna: un conjunto básico y esas botas joya. Para las que no quieren pasar desapercibidas.

Y los botines de Dior de Charlize Theron, ¿qué me dices? Bueno, todo lo que está luciendo la nena en los últimos días en los estrenos de la película "Hancock", es un acertazo. Se la ve muy segura de si misma, guapísima y los modelitos le quedan... espectacular no, lo siguiente. Aplaudo de pie.
And what about Charlize Theron's Dior booties? Well, all she's being rocking lately on the "Hancock" movie premiere red carpets is really a wonderful choice. She looks so confident, stunning and all the outfits are truly flattering... beyond spectacular. Standing ovations.

Tienen un papel importante en la peli Sexo en Nueva York y según vamos hablando siguen subiendo de precio pues muchas hemos decidido tener precisamente esta parte de Carrie en el armario. ¿O con los blue satin pumps de Vivier Roger? Que la verdad que son una delicia y tampoco serías la única en lucir sus famosas hebillas. Como dos gotas de agua, pero ¿con cuál te quedarías?

Have a very important role in the Sex and the City movie and since many of us decided to have precisely this "part of Carrie" in our closet, their price is raising as we speak. Or with Vivier Roger blue satin pumps? A real delight. And you would become a new member of the Silver Buckle Celebrity Club. Like two drops of water, but which one would you prefer?

Rihanna at Private Dinner Honnoring herself Hosted by Gucci

El mismísimo Sr. Gucci y la actriz Sophia Bush han sido los anfitriones de la cena privada en honor de Rihanna. La reina de la noche eligió un conjunto de vestido y chaqueta del diseñador de la colección Otoño 2008.

Mr. Gucci himself and the actress Sophia Bush hosted a Private Dinner Honoring Rihanna. The queen of the night has chosen an ensemble by Gucci from his Fall 2008 collection.



Esta combinación (que por cierto me recuerda mucho a Sandy de Grease y también Dirty Dancing) es la favorita de Fergie de esta temporada.

The combination of dress and jacket (that btw reminds me of Sandy from Grease and of Dirty Dancing) is being lately Fergie's favourite choice for her appearances and performances.

Celebrity style: Heidi Klum & Roland Mouret

Heidi Klum atendió ayer la 67 entrega anual de Peabody Awards. Vestida en vestido llamado "Pigalle" de la colección RM by Roland Mouret Otoño 2008. Heidi optó por los mismos zapatos que se han visto en la pasarela (una temporada más un projecto de cooperación entre Christian Louboutin y Roland Mouret). Es una pena que de momento no encontré ninguna foto de ella de espalda, pues el vestido por detrás es muy interesante (si te gusta, ya está disponible en blanco y negro). Me pregunto si la elección de Roland Mouret ha sido influenciada por la mismísima embajadora de la marca (en la foto con botines de Christian Louboutin para RM de esta temporada).

Heidi Klum attended the 67th Annual Peabody Awards yesterday. Dressed in Pigalle dress from RM by Roland Mouret Pre-fall 2008 collection. Heidi opted for the same pair of shoes as seen on the catwalk (one season more a cooperation between Christian Louboutin and Roland Mouret). It's a pity I didn't find any picture of her from behind yet, since the back side of the dress is very interesting (if you want it, is already available in black and white). My question is whether the choice was influenced by the RM by Roland Mouret embajador herself (on the picture below with a pair of Christian Louboutin for RM booties from this Spring collection).





La respuesta la sabrán ellas. Lo que está claro es que a partir de hoy, estas dos fashion queens tienen en común una cosa más, además de su pasión por conocer los jóvenes diseñadores más prometedores, y sus bolsos Hermés.

Only the two of them know the answer. What is evident, this is another thing this two fashion queens have in common, on top of thier passion for new promissing young designers and their Hermés bags.
