Casualmente eligió el mismo color que Coleen.

I'm working on another "triple coincidence" and just realized that the last one, means this Balenciaga Flower Power, is quadruple, since after Coleen and Terri and one week before Victoria, Ashanti wore the same dress for the Sephora Anniversary event.Coincidentally chosen of the same colour as Coleen's.

Fergie's Shoe Collection inspired in...

Fergie acaba de presentar su primera colección de zapatos. Hoy en día ya es más fácil nombrar aquellas celebrities que no tienen su línea de lo que sea, así que no me sorprendió nada que después de su última colección - la de bolsos para Kipling, nos informaron que la flamante cantante de Black Eyed Peas, revelará su primera colección de zapatos a finales de este mes. Lo que me sorprendió fue ver la colección llena "inspiraciones".

Fergie has just presented her first shoe collection. As of today is much easier to do a list of celebs that don't have any fashion line or anything, rather than a list of those who do. But this was not a surprise this collection brought me. She has already designed a bag collection for Kipling so her shoe collection was just a next step. What did surprise me was to see this collection full of "inspirations".

Eva Longoria para la party de cumpleaños de Kate Beckinsale hace un par de días volvió a lucir su vestidito de Escada, anteriormente visto en ella en Abril durante la rueda de prensa de Magnum en Méjico. Un color que la favorece mucho. Un corte de vestido muy típico para ella. Igual con el largo justo por encima de las rodillas opticamente parecería más alta, pero allá ella.

She was spotted wearing the same dress back in April during the Magnum Press Conference in Mexico. The colour is very flattering and the shape of the dress is very typical of her style. Maybe if the dress was a bit shorter, just above the knees, she would optically look taller, but let's leave this choice on her.

En su reciente viaje por Europa, Jennifer Lopez visitó -entre otras- la tienda de Emilio Pucci en Portofino, Italia. Así que era de esperar que pronto o tarde saldrá a la luz el contenido de su bolsa de compra. La primera pieza - su pañuelo - no tardó mucho en ver la luz pues Jennifer lo lució el mismo día.

During her recent trip to Europe, Jennifer Lopez visited -among others- Emilio Pucci shop in Portofino, Italy. So it was just a question of time to discover the content of her shopping bag. The first piece -the scarf- didn't take too much time to come to the light since Jennifer's put it on the same day.

When I visited the official site of the designer to find a picture of the dress and see the whole collection that, I confess, I didn't know, I discovered a very interesting news. I knew the dress she wore during the Philanthropic Summit 2007 Evening Gala was also by Gustavo Cadile, ...



... pero lo que no sabía era que muchos de los vestidos que lució en diferentes eventos (y seguro que estos no son todos...), incluyendo dos de la entrega de los Premios Alma del año pasado (los primeros dos), y el amarillo de la fiesta de bienvenida de los Beckham, también eran del mismo diseñador Argentino.
... but what I didn't know was that many of the dresses she wore to different events (and I'm sure below are not all of them...), including a couple of dresses she rocked during last year Alma Awards (the first two), and the yellow one she wore to Beckham's Welcome Party, all of them were also  from the same Argentinian designer.






Incluso en su última entrevista para la revista InStyle mencionó que este vestido negro es una de sus prendas favoritas, mejor dicho su "favorito absoluto".

Cover Girl: Rihanna for InStyle, part II.

Tengo que confesar - bueno ya lo hice en la primera parte - que me esperaba más de esta sesión de fotos. Más aún cuando me enteré de que una gran parte de la entrevista con Rihanna, la dedicarán a "romper las reglas". Interesante y prometedor, pensaba. Aunque hay cositas sueltas, para mi no supieron aprovechar "el personaje" y desde luego no demostraron que "las reglas están para romperlas". Ya me dirás si estás de acuerdo o no.

I have to confess - well I did it already in the first part - I've been expecting a lot from this photo session. Even more when I found out the big part of the interview with Rihanna is focused on "breaking the rules". Interesting and promising, I thought. Even though there are some nice pieces, for me they were not able to make the most of the "character" and I didn't find any huge demonstration of "rules were meant to be broken". Let's see whether you agree with me or not.
