En la gala de la noche anterior se han dejado ver casi todas las estrellas y estrellitas de Hollywood. Las tendencias más fuertes en cuanto a colores eran rojo (me alegro mucho) y negro. En cuanto a formas, sobre todo palabras de honor, seguidas por los vestidos con un tirante. Modelitos muy bonitos, aunque, desde mi punto de vista, y esto siempre es muy subjetivo, no hubo grandes sorpresas. Muchos de los vestidos que yo hubiera elegido porque me parecían espectaculares y ariesgados, se quedaron en los showrooms de los diseñadores. Qué pena... Almost all the Hollywood stars and starlets were spotted at yesterday Oscar night. Most powerful trends in terms of colours were red (so happy for this) and black. And in terms of forms, strapless dresses above all, followed by one-shoulder gowns. Very beautiful creations, even though, from my point of view, and this is always subjective, there were no big surprises. A lot of dresses I would have chosen because I find them spectacular and also risky, remain in the designers ateliers. What a pity...

Heidi para mí era la mejor vestida, la mejor complementada y la mejor peinada. The most spectacular dress of the night was the one of Heidi Klum, created by John Galliano. I love it all. Heidi for me won (at least) three awards: the best dressed, the best accessorized and the best hairdo.
Javier al final sí que se llevó el premio. Me alegro mucho. Hasta hace muy poco no era una fan suya, me parecía un señor prepotente y chulo. Pero he visto la peli en inglés y el tío no tiene ni pizca de acento, lo hace de miedo y de las entrevistas que leí en internet percibes profesionalidad, inteligencia y sobre todo humildad. He cambiado de opinión. Aunque me sigue pareciendo pelín chulo, me estoy enamorando de su trabajo. ¡Felicidades Javier! Javier at the end did win the award. I'm very happy for him. Until very recently I was not a fan of his, I was finding him arrogant and cocky. But I saw the movie in English and this man has no accent (and you know that the Spanish accent is very strong and difficult to get rid off), his role is so credible you get scared and from all the interviews I read on internet come out professionalism, intelligence and humility. I changed my mind. Even though I still find mi a bit cocky, I'm felling in love with his work. Congratulations Javier!

Ambas chicas optaron por un vestido largo. ¿Qué puedo decir? No y no. Ambas radiantes pero el vestuario muy soso, muy serio, demasiado apagado, parecen dos señoras. Both girls opted for gowns. Scarlett lució un vestido de Stella McCartney. Ay Scarlett... No sé por qué razón muchas de las chicas de Hollywood hacen todo lo posible para aparentar más edad de la que tienen. Si existen tantísimos vestidos en tonos grises que le favorecerían muchísimo más, que le darían ese toque de glamour que se busca en un estreno real sin que parezca una "jóven vieja". Para no tirar siempre de "los mismos nombres", por ejemplo vestidos como los de Doo.Ri, Zang Toi o Three as Four. Scarlett wore a Stella McCartney dress. Oh Scarlett... I don't know why the hell many of the Hollywood girls do all their best to make themselves look older. There are sooo many dresses and gowns in grey tones much more flattering than this one, dresses that have this glamourous touch a star is looking for when attending a royal premiere but without making a girl look like a "young old lady". In order to not use always the same labels, gowns like for example the ones by Doo.Ri, Zang Toi or Three as Four.

Cambiaría los zapatos y si elegiría un collar de perlas, sería más corto como el de Jackie o varios - cortos y largos - en plan Coco Chanel. Would have chosen a different pair of shoes.
