79 days left. Both Carrie and Sarah Jessica since always got us used to see her in this kind of princess dresses. We saw several on Carrie and many on red carpet events Sarah Jessica attended (even for her perfumes advertising campaigns the team has chosen them). And of course this is just a small selection.

During the last press conference our four friends gave for the press people from all around the world some days ago in Ritz-Carlton hotel in NY (taking pictures was forbiden thus can't share anything with you but two photos of Cynthia and Kristin leaving the hotel), the girl were talking a bit about everything (I'm not going to share all the interview with you today, so you don't get an overdose ;o). A principios del año pasado me llamó Chris Albrecht de HBO. Estaba a punto de ir a Dublin para hacer una cosita para ITV. Y me dijo, "Estuve en el teatro cinema viendo El diablo se viste de Prada, el sitio estaba a tope de gente y mirando alrededor mío me di cuenta que nosotros fueramos los que crearon este público. Y pensé que realmente necesitamos hacer la película."
Early last year Chris Albrecht from HBO called me when I was just about to go to Dublin, Ireland to do a thing for ITV. He told me, “I was in a movie theatre watching The Devil Wears Prada, it was absolutely packed and I looked around and realized, ‘We created this audience.’ And I think we really need to do the film.”

It was all amazing. I started working on putting this movie back together in the spring of 2006, so by the time we started shooting on September 19th, 2007 it was so unreal to me that we had managed to get all the parts and pieces together. Michael Patrick [King] and I worked endlessly for the last year prior to shooting. Everything was so complicated, and to produce this movie was a massive undertaking. But then all of a sudden there we were on September 19th to start shooting and it was… It was a dream, honestly.

Era salvaje. Mi primer día era el segundo o el tercer día de rodaje, y las cuatro trabajamos juntas por primera vez. De vuelta en esos modelitos y en esos taconazos. Y como lo que hicimos ya era pasado y de repente vimos a 200 personas y fotógrafos en la calle, todo era como nuevo para nosotras. Y tuvimos que aprender de nuevo como caminar por la calle y andar al unisono y sin balancear, pero era estupendo. Eramos como un organismo con cuatro cabezas y ocho piernas.
It was wild. My first day was the second or third day of filming, when all four of us were working for the first time. We were back in these outfits, and these heels again. And we'd been away from it, and now there were 200 people and photographers on the street watching, which was very new for us. And we had to re-learn how to walk down the street and walk in unison and not teeter over in our heels, but it kind of felt great. What it felt like was a four-headed eight-legged organism.

Cynthia dijo que era casi como volver al instituto. Hay una intensa familiaridad entre nosotras y en muchos sentidos somos como hermanas. Terminamos frases una a la otra y realmente nunca nos hemos separado. La gente preguntaba que como es eso de volver a estar juntas. Pero nosotras nunca nos separamos, simplemente tuvimos que volver a ser nuestros personajes de nuevo, lo cual era muy surrealista.
Cynthia said, it’s like almost going back to high school. There’s an intense familiarity between us, and we are in many ways like sisters. We finish each others’ sentences and we were never separated from each other. People kept saying how is it to be back together? But we were never separated, we just had to go back to being our characters which was a very surreal.

Era muy fácil. Dios, y era tan fabuloso y divertido. Lo más difícil era el primer día de rodaje, la calle estaba llena de gente gritando y chillando, y eso... como que no me dejaba concentrarme. Era abrumador, creo que para todas. Porque yo no sabía que es lo que me puedo esperar y de repente hay alguien gritando en medio de una escena "Te quiero Samantha" o "Carrie, ¡estoy aquí!"
It was so easy. God, it was so fabulous—and fun. The most difficult thing was the first day, there were so many crowds on the street and they were screaming and yelling and I just was really kind of... It kind of broke my concentration. I was overwhelmed, as I think all of us were. Because I didn’t know what to expect and there’s someone screaming in the middle of a scene, “I love you Samantha!” or “Carrie, I’m over here!”

Cacofonía y locura... Era chocante - sobre todo por el tema de los paparazzis con video cámaras. Mi primer día de rodaje era con Chris Noth y había como 10 paparazzis con cámaras grabandonos todo el día. Mientras rodábamos y también durante las pausas. Antes también venían paparazzi, pero no con cámaras de video. Era extraño tener las cámaras en tu cara todo el tiempo. Eso era nuevo.
The cacophony and insanity... It was shocking—mainly because of the paparazzi now. My first day shooting was with Chris Noth and there were maybe 10 paparazzi video cameras on us all day all the time. While we were acting, and while we weren’t. We’d had the paparazzi before, but not the video before. It was weird having video cameras in your face all the time. That was new.
