Con calcetines altos o súper altos. * With thigh-high socks.
Si eliges la opción de llevar este tipo de calzado con falda o short, recomiendo no elegir prendas por debajo de las rodillas. Ópticamente parecerás más baja y tus piernas más cortas.
If you choose the option of wearing this kind of shoes with skirt or shorts, I recommend no to choose garments below the knees. Optically, you'll look shorter and as will do your legs.
Con leggins, pantalones o vaqueros.

Si quieres que los botines se vean bien, combínalos con pantalones hasta los tobillos o piratas. Los pantalones que mejor quedan, son pitillo o un modelo recto, como el vaquero de Sarah Jessica. Lo que no haría es combinarlos con un pantalón pirata o 3/4 ancho, pues el efecto es el mismo que con la falda por debajo de las rodillas. Aunque subes a tus taconazos, ópticamente parecerás más bajita.
If you want the booties or ankle boots to be seen, combine them with cropped trousers. The one that suit best, are skinny trousers or straight ones, like Sarah Jessica's jeans. What I wouldn't do is to combine them with wide cropped trousers, because the effect is the same as with the skirt below the knees. Even though on your killer heels you get higher, optically you'll look shorter.
