SXY FASHION QUEEN responde a tus preguntas. SXY FASHION QUEEN answers your questions. Part 3.

I got a bunch of questions from many sxy fashion queens from different parts of the world, regarding the Fall/Winter 2007 trends. So this special is dedicated to all of them.
Things that you were most interested in are: colours for the upcoming season, style/s of trousers that will be hot for fall/winter season and you wanted me to underline a couple or tree trends I thing are going to be the strongest ones. So let’s get into it one by one:

COLORES
COLOURS
This season, finally, the “official fall/winter mourning” is over. As if it wasn’t enough that holidays, summertime and short sleeved tops are over… As if it wasn’t enough that there is less light during the day and almost everybody is having a fall depression… On top of that, every year we have to take out the fall/winter stuff, where the dominant colours are all dark or black. You enter a shop and don’t feel like buying anything… So this, my dears, this is officially OVER! Even though the designers can’t make our holidays longer, neither they can do anything about the daylight, but it seems they understood that what all of us missed during the looong falls and winters, were colours, and the majority of them incorporated many bright colours to their collections.
I use to buy a lot of magazines, especially at the beginning of the season, but before I do so, I always like to take out my own conclusions, highlight the trends I consider the most hot, and afterwards to compare my point of view with the one I find in my favourite magazines. I feel it like a wonderful exercise. Having said this, for me there are tree groups of colours.

”Always here” colours: black, blue marine, brown in different tonalities.

”Highlighted” colour: grey, metallic grey, both in all tonalities.

”New” colours (the ones I put in parentheses, are the tonalities I consider most hot):
Crudo * Cream/natural

Amarillo (limón curry, mostaza), azul cobalto, naranja (ocre “quemado”).
Yellow (lemon curry, mustard), cobalt blue, orange (burnt ochre). The yellow colour "entered" already during the summer and will be trendy for the next Spring/Summer 2008 season as well. Since the Autumn/Winter season just began, I don't have "enough material" so far. But don't worry, as soon as I get an interesting outfit picture, I'll keep you updated.

Rojo (chilli).
Red (chilli). Also very strong during the summer and we'll see it again the next season.

Morado (da igual si es lavanda, amatista, violeta, lila, berenjena, ciruela, mientras que sea morado).
Purple(no matter whether lavender, amethyst, violet, lilac, aubergine, plum, as long as it’s purple).

Fucsia * Fuchsia

Verdes (esmeralda, musgo) y colores metalizados.
Greens (emerald, moss), metallic colours. There was also pink in some of the collections, but I think (and I can be wrong), that “on the streets” pink, will be more trendy from the next season onwards.
